How much whiter will Rapid White make my teeth?
All of our treatments have a shade claim on pack, which is supported by extensive product testing. These will advise the number of shades lighter that you can achieve with a specific length of treatment, and this can always be measured with the Professional Tooth Shade Guide which is provided with all our treatments.
How quickly will I start to see results?
Depending on the condition of your teeth, you should start to see results within the first 3-4 days of use. See question below if you are using the Brightlight.
For the Brightlight, in step 3 it says 'repeat', what do I need to do?
You only need to repeat step 3, not the whole process. Therefore, after you have
applied the Accelerator and Gel, you should use the Brightlight, which automatically
turns off after two minutes. Simply repeat by turning the Brightlight on again and
holding it up to your teeth for a further two minutes.
The steps are:
- Apply the Accelerator and Gel.
- Switch the Brightlight on and hold it to your teeth.
- The light will automatically turn off after two minutes.
- Switch the Brightlight on again and hold it up to your teeth.
- After a further two minutes the Brightlight will automatically switch
off again.
How soon will I see results with the Brightlight?
While the speed of the results varies between different people, you should be able to see a difference in just five days. The best results should be seen after two weeks of daily use each morning and evening.
Are there any side affects to using Rapid White?
There are no side effects to using Rapid White. You may experience a slight tingling sensation during use, which is perfectly normal. If this becomes uncomfortable you should discontinue use.
How long should I use a Rapid White system or pen for?
We recommend using the products for 5-10 minutes twice a day for up to 14 days at a time. You should always follow the instructions carefully, using more product or performing the treatment for an extended period of time will not improve the whitening action.
Is Rapid White as good as the professional tooth whitening treatments available?
Rapid White is not directly comparable with the professional treatments available as these are based on high concentration peroxide formulations. These formulations are often faster at tackling staining within the teeth; however they tend to be quite expensive. It is important to mention that neither professional nor home use chemical whitening treatments can whiten teeth beyond your natural tooth shade; these vary between individuals, as with skin tone and tooth colour can only be improved beyond this by applying veneers to the teeth.
How often can I use a Rapid White system?
We do not recommend using a Rapid White System more than once every 3-4 months, and with good oral hygiene it should not be necessary to do so. When using the Rapid White Brightstick as a 14 day treatment again we recommend once every 3-4 months, however the pen can also be used with the systems as part of a regime for whitening top ups, as and when desired.
Will I experience any pain whilst using Rapid White?
Using Rapid White is not painful; you may experience a slight tingling sensation during use, which is perfectly normal. If this becomes uncomfortable you should discontinue use. When using the systems some users do find the mouth tray uncomfortable, if this is the case you could try a pen treatment instead.
Will Rapid White give the same results for everyone?
Rapid White will improve the whiteness of everybody's smile however results will vary for each individual.
How long will the results last?
Tea, coffee, red wine and smoking are just a few of the causes of tooth staining. The length of time the results last will depend on your lifestyle and how often your teeth are exposed to substances which stain them. Under average circumstances you should not need to use a treatment more than once every 3-4 months.
